Good Practice Guidebook for four business tourism products

GCB introduces new tool to gather statistics - GCBstats

26.01.2012 • Gdansk Convention Bureau offered hoteliers and their partners a tool, innovative project on European and Polish market, that allows collecting statistic data on-line. It is called GCBstats. Application will be used to collect data on number and types of business meeting organized in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.GCBstatistics will replace questionnaires, sent via e-mail and supplemented through phone calls. Europe+Asia Event Forum EFEA in St. Petersburg

20.01.2012 • Between 18th and 20th of January 2012 there was Europe + Asia Forum Event EFEA held in St. Petersburg, Russia.  The conference was attended by over 200 people from 20 countries. EFEA Event Forum took place in the new PetroCongress Congress Centre. The meeting, at the special invitation of the organizers, was attended by Anna Gorska CEO GOT / GCB, which participated in the panel `The impact of large mass events on destination, the EURO 2012 in Gdansk`.The issues discussed during the conference were related to the meeting industry. 19.01.2012 • Recently, Trip Advisor’s prestigious prizes were awarded. These prizes are awarded in two categories - Top 10 Hotels for Service in Poland and Top 25 Bargain Hotels in Poland. Gdansk Convention Bureau again became the Regional Leader of Innovation

17.01.2012 • This year Gdansk Convention Bureau for the second time received the title of Regional Leader of Innovation. This time GCB was rewared in the category for Innovative European Union Project  for the ‘Volunteers for Gdansk’ project. The reward was received by Anna Gorska, CEO of Gdansk Convention Bureau / Gdansk Tourist Organization during the seminar “Innovations are closer to us”.
