The meeting of the Polish Cities Convention Bureaux in Gdańsk!

On the 11th of February in the new office of Gdańsk Convention Bureau the meeting of the Polish Cities Convention Bureaux and the Convetnion Bureau of Poland took place.
There were representatives of Warsaw, Cracow, Szczecin, Poznań and Gdańsk present. The main issues of 2009 were summarized and the plan for the 2010 was introduced.

The special guest was Mrs. Ellen Colingsworth, who presented the ideas of how the Convention Bureau can succeed. Her presentation was based on the many years experienced from the job of Mrs. Colingsworth in Edinburgh Convention Bureau.

The Convention Bureau of Poland major plans for 2010 are as follows:

Continuation of Regional PCO Recommendation,
Statistical data for the Poland Meeting Industry Report 2010,
The establishment of the Document of the Rights and Obligations of Convention Bureaux in Poland,
‘Unique venues in Poland’ catalogue,
Programme of the Polish Congress Ambassadors.

The next meeting will take place in Poznań on the 10-11 of May.
