
Ladies and Gentlemen!
We are pleased to announce that Gdańsk Shareholders (Gdańscy Akcjonariusze) received funding in the amount of 142 610 PLN from Civil Initiatives Fund in order to continue project "Gdańsk Shareholders - consistently to the goal" ("Gdańscy Akcjonariusze - konsekwentnie do celu”).
The project will be continued by Gdańsk Convention Bureau (GCB) starting from the beginning of August 2010 till the end of 2011. Project aim is to involve volunteers ("shareholders") to help in organizing large public events in Gdansk, such as conferences or festivals, and thereby create the best atmosphere for hosting those kind of events in Gdansk. While the project GCB is accompanaied by its partner Regional Volunteer Centre in Gdansk (Regionalne Centrum Wolontariatu w Gdańsku).
Till now Gdańsk Shareholders (Gdańscy Akcjonariusze) helped in many events eg.: All About Freedom Festival, the Globe Forum, Streetwaves, th, UNICA Independent Film Festival, 20 years Local Government in Gdansk, CARDIFF 2010.
Additional funding helps to continue the project, which will hopefully increase number of events held in Gdańsk!
