On August 18, 2010 newly built multifunctional hall Ergo Arena was opened.

Hall audience consists of the lower grandstand (3,972 seats); lodges (1,011 seats), and upper grandstand seats for 2674 (including 7,657 permanent seats, 36 places for disabled people and 36 seats for carers)

Hall is suitable for organization of congresses, symposia, and trade fairs and exhibitions. For the purpose hall has 6,322 seats (including the arrangement of the Hall arena.) Object Functions: sport (possibility of organizing events at the highest level - the World Cup, European Championships in all disciplines and areas of indoor sports), cultural (the world's biggest concerts, celebrities, theater and cinema, events, operas, etc.), convention and exhibition (congresses, exhibitions, symposiums, conferences), catering (restaurants, bars, pubs, etc.) associated with the sponsorship (booths, VIP club) and the promotion of the region, trade.

Ergo Arena held its first extraordinary spectacle of sport on Aug 18th with Volunteers for Gdansk participation! On the  volleyball floor met best team of the world: Polish national team - World Cup runners, and nine times winners of World League - Brazil. Both teams played in the strongest configurations. Polish volleyball players defeated Brazilians 3-2 in straight sets!
Our volunteers were in the most strategic locations along the route leading to the Hall - at Żabianka SKM, SKM Sopot Racing, hubs tram and bus. They willingly provided information for all arriving fans and pointed to the fastest pathways for the match.
