30.11.2011 • The last day of Forum for Young Professionals (FYP) was also the first day of EIBTM. 20 best essays authors from all over the world were invited to Barcelona in the end of Nov 2011. Among the winners there was Polish representative – Agata Walczak-Ziller from Gdansk Convention Bureau. Invitation to these elite classes was the prize in a FYP competition for young professionals (under 30), whose task was to write an essay on one of the four themes proposed by the organizers. Gdansk Convention Bureau at the jubilee ICCA Congress in Leipzig

26.10.2011 • The jubilee 50th ICCA Congress took place between 22nd and 26th of October in Leipzig. It was organized at the Congress Center Leipzig which is the part of Leipziger Messe’s new exhibition and convention centre. The 50th ICCA International Congress and Convention Association Congress was held from 22 to 26 October 2011 in Leipzig. Congress was combined with the General Assembly of Members. GCB employee qualifies for Forum for Young Professionals!

03.10.2011 • This year, AGAIN Gdańsk Convention Bureau employee (GCB) takes part in the Forum for Young Professionals, which is organized by the ICCA International Congress and Convention Association and EIBTM business tourism trade fair in Barcelona. Agata Walczak qualified for FYP 2011. Gdansk Convention Bureau supports ICCA Education Fund!

24.08.2011 • This year Gdansk Convention Bureau again takes part in ICCA Silent Auction donating the prizes. The ICCA Silent Auction contributes to the ICCA Education Fund. This fund provides education opportunities for Young Meetings Professionals and helps raise professional standards in the International Meetings Industry. Gdańsk is getting ready for the next ICCA conference – Central European Chapter Meeting

14.07.2011 • Only a few days ago ended the ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme and Gdansk is already getting ready for the next ICCA conference. Thanks to Gdansk Convention Bureau (GCB) on the 25-27 of August 2011 the annual ICCA CEC Central European Chapter Summer Meeting will take place in Gdansk.
