18.06.2010 • On 17 June 2010 at the Scandic Hotel in Gdansk took place EcoHotel Seminar designed to educate the representatives of the hospitality industry in the Pomorskie voivodship environmental protection.The meeting was organized by the Gdańsk Convention Bureau, which received a workshop grant from the Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska and Gospodarki Wodnej.The honorary patronage of the seminar took the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship, Mr. Mieczysław Struk.Seminar participants were mostly representatives of small and large hotels and other stakeholders in the travel industry.The meeting was... more »

Integration meeting in Hotel Posejdon!

15.06.2010 • On Monday, June 14th, Gdansk Tourism Organisation (GOT) and Gdańsk Convention Bureau (GCB) had a pleasure to host representatives of the affiliated institutions on integration meeting in the Hotel Posejdon. The meeting was held in the holte gardens. Guests tasted delicious Polish cuisine e.g. grilled marinated pork neck, white sausages, dumplings with meat bacon and onions, baked potatoes with herbs and many others. ICCA CEC Meeting 2011 will be held in Gdańsk!

14.06.2010 • Between 10-12 of April 2010, Mrs Anna Gorska, CEO of Gdańsk Tourist Organization and Gdańsk Convention Bureau took part in the educational conference in Prague. The conference was organized by ICCA Central European Chapter Meeting, where Mrs Gorska is one of the Managing Board Directors Member.The main subjects of the conference were: the best ways to attract the medical congresses to your destination, how to use unconventional venues, social media in promoting the destination. Gdańsk Convention Bureau another success

04.06.2010 • Ladies and Gentlemen! We are pleased to announce that Gdańsk Shareholders (Gdańscy Akcjonariusze) received funding in the amount of 142 610 PLN from Civil Initiatives Fund in order to continue project "Gdańsk Shareholders - consistently to the goal" ("Gdańscy Akcjonariusze - konsekwentnie do celu”).The project will be continued by Gdańsk Convention Bureau (GCB) starting from the beginning of August 2010 till the end of 2011.
