Gdańsk Convention Bureau runs Recommendation Programme for Professional Congress Organizers (PCO) - companies specialized in organization of comprehensive conventions and conferences in Gdansk and Pomeranian Region.

Recommendation can get operators specialized in planning and organizing conferences, with appropriate experience within meetings industry, good technical facilities and qualified staff that guarantee providing clients with the highest quality of services. Main requirements: organization of min. 1 congress for 250 delegates and 4 meetings for 150 delegates, min. 3 positive recommendations from clients.

Gdansk Tourist Organization is the association appointed by the City of Gdańsk which coordinates a comprehensive way to promote tourism in Gdańsk and the region and cooperates extensively with the local tourist industry and local governments in this area.

In our work we focus on the initiation and implementation of all efforts to develop and promote the broader tourism in Gdańsk and the Pomeranian Region.

The most important tasks which we realise are:

-          conducting four Tourist Information points in Gdańsk,
-          administration of popular internet tourist portals,
-          development and distribution on the local, national and international market inofrmation and promotional materials about Gdańsk and the region,
-          initiation and implementation of projects contributing to increase the number of tourists visiting Gdańsk and the Region and to prolong the tourist season.

Every year, a growing number of representatives of the tourism industry in Pomorskie Region our association join. We promote members of Gdańsk Tourist Organisation during all of our promotional activities. Currently, Gdansk Tourist Organization has more than 100 members.
